Saarda Rajroop
Honours B.A. (Political Science), M.M.I.E. (Master of Management Innovation & Entrepreneurship)
What will my child walk away with? Clearer writing and stronger arguments, built on the same fundamentals of structure and audience awareness that I use in my own academic and business communication.
What can families expect? A focus on clarity, structure, and audience-focused writing, paired with genuine mentorship. My years working with youth through Big Brothers Big Sisters and Girl Guides shape how I build confidence in every student.
What does class actually feel like? Structured and confidence-building. We treat every piece of writing the way I was trained to treat a business case or a political argument: define the claim, build the evidence, and communicate it clearly.
How do you challenge a curious mind? I push students to think about their audience and the strength of their evidence, not just to write more, so their arguments become genuinely persuasive rather than simply longer.
Credentials and Experience I completed my Master of Management Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Queen’s University’s Smith School of Business and hold an Honours BA in Political Science from McMaster University, with a focus on critical reading, essay writing, and argument development. I have several years of youth mentorship and leadership experience through organizations including Big Brothers Big Sisters and Girl Guides.
