Tony,

Good morning. I just wanted to send a note of thanks this morning. Last night Erin was absolutely beaming with joy after leaving class. She told us all about the class and how much fun it was. As soon as we got home she taught me how to do magic squares. As we were talking, the one thing she was annoyed about is that class ended; in her words, “I wish it had gone past 10 o’clock!” She has now adopted her squishy toy and called it her study buddy and put mine on my desk to help me at work.

I can’t thank you enough for doing such a great job engaging the kids last night. The passion,...

Thanks for the post class email. I really appreciate the update.

Ethan came out of the BrainPower class this past Tuesday, excited and interested, and giving me an overview of the class.

It has been a long time since I heard him say positive things about an after-school class, and I am feeling encouraged.

Thanks for an engaging first class, and I hope he will be encouraged to continue developing his Math and problem solving skills.

Ethan used to be really good in Math, and participated in Math Caribou and Gauss contests in his lower grades. However, he seemed to have since lost interest in Math in the past 2 years.

I am hoping that he can find that joy...

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Brain Power programs

What grade levels are Brain Power programs for?

We welcome students from 1st grade through 12th grade (senior year of high school). Courses are designed to meet students where they are: early math and literacy for elementary students, advanced problem-solving and writing for middle schoolers, and public speaking and Olympiad-level work for high school students – and everything in between.

How do placement assessments work?

Assessments are free, personalized sessions that determine which class best matches a student’s skills and goals.

When do classes take place?

All programs run after school and weekends, making them a complement—not a replacement—for day school.

How is Brain Power different from tutoring?

We don’t reteach homework. We build higher-order skills: critical thinking, communication, creativity and problem solving.

Who teaches the programs?

All instructors are PhDs or accomplished professionals who choose Brain Power because they love teaching bright students.

What subjects are offered?

All of our award-winning subjects, Math & Problem Solving, Language Arts, and Public Speaking are available in the USA.

To begin, we will offer 4-14 week previews in Winter and Spring 2026, followed by full year courses in September 2026.

Do you offer online options?

Yes, all of our courses have a virtual option!

How much do programs cost?

Preview workshops start at $145 in Chicago/Houston and $507 in New York. Full-year programs launch Fall 2026.

Can my child join both preview workshops and full-year programs?

Yes! Many families use previews as a first step before enrolling in full-year courses.

How do I get updates on the launch?

Join our U.S. Launch List for announcements, priority registration, and exclusive offers.

We partner with and collaborate with some of the leading research institutions, schools, and education partners in the world!
